RGA: More than 130,000 Vehicles Travel on Roads Leading to Makkah on Ninth of Dhu Al-Hijjah

Makkah: The Roads General Authority (RGA) reported that more than 130,000 vehicles traveled on roads leading to Makkah on the ninth of Dhu Al-Hijjah as part of operational and organizational efforts aimed at facilitating pilgrims' movement during the 1447 AH Hajj season and improving traffic flow across the road network leading to Makkah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority stated that the Arafat entrance recorded the highest traffic volume with 45,802 vehicles, followed by Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road with 27,456 vehicles and Al-Layth Road with 15,591 vehicles.

Al-Hijrah Road recorded 13,494 vehicles passing, while the Taif-Makkah Road via Al-Sail Al-Kabeer recorded 11,070 vehicles. The Makkah-Jeddah Road via Bahra recorded 8,580 vehicles, while the Makkah-Taif Road via Aqabat Al-Hada saw 6,421 vehicles. The direct Makkah-Jeddah Road registered 2,922 vehicles.
