According to Saudi Press Agency, the findings highlight school leadership as a key driver of educational quality, demonstrating that targeted leadership training elevates both administrative efficiency and classroom performance. The results reflect the institute's strategic shift toward measuring actual educational impact rather than program attendance.

To support this objective, the institute is establishing an integrated leadership development system. The methodology utilizes psychometric assessments, situational judgment tests, and AI-assisted interviews to map individual leadership capabilities and design tailored, competency-based career paths.

In partnership with University College London, the institute developed professional pathways aligned with a national framework for school leadership competencies, targeting 40,000 principals and vice-principals across Saudi Arabia. To ensure widespread delivery, the institute prepared 100 master trainers, who then trained a further 100 trainers nationwide.

The 10-month leadership program blends in-person instruction, synchronous and asynchronous e-learning, on-the-job training, professional mentoring, and applied school projects. These initiatives form part of a broader framework aimed at advancing human capacity and elevating overall education quality in Saudi Arabia.
