Mecca: The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) affirmed that the strategic placement of manned and automatic monitoring stations within the holy sites has contributed to achieving the highest levels of accuracy in monitoring weather elements, supporting operational and service efforts for pilgrims during Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the distribution of monitoring stations according to scientific and technical standards enabled a forecast-to-observation accuracy rate exceeding 98% in the holy sites, covering temperature, humidity, wind speed, and various weather factors.

Accurate meteorological data is a key element in supporting relevant entities serving pilgrims, providing real-time, proactive information to aid decision-making during the Hajj season.
