NCNP Announces Success of Hajj 1447 AH Operational Plan with Participation of over 39,000 Volunteers

Riyadh: The National Center for the Non-Profit Sector (NCNP) has announced the successful implementation of its operational plans and specialized initiatives for the 1447 AH Hajj season. This achievement reflects the unwavering support of the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which has mobilized all resources to serve the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. It also highlights the vital role of the non-profit sector as an active national partner within the integrated service ecosystem. This aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to maximize the sector's social and economic impact and strengthen its humanitarian leadership.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during this season, the center achieved its ambitious volunteerism objectives, engaging over 39,000 male and female volunteers who provided field services at holy sites, border crossings, and various volunteer opportunities throughout the Kingdom. Their efforts extended to the Two Holy Mosques, pilgrim cities, miqats (places for pilgrims to enter into a state of Ihram), roadside rest areas, as well as Makkah and Madinah, building on the successes of previous seasons. Volunteers also participated in intensive qualification and training programs that enhanced their readiness to serve the pilgrims effectively.

The third edition of the Hajj Volunteer Operations Center demonstrated high operational efficiency, serving as a real-time command-and-coordination hub. It successfully connected 16 government and non-profit entities through a unified platform and digital dashboards, resulting in faster response times and improved coordination and management of volunteer efforts across the holy sites during the Hajj season.
