Nicaraguan Vice President Rosario Murillo said that President Daniel Ortega ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to sever diplomatic relations with Israel.

Murillo added: "Our president has instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to comply with the request of the parliament and sever diplomatic relations with the fascist and genocidal government of Israel."
