The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned today the terrorist attack on a defense and security forces base in Barkaram, western Chad, on October 27, 2024, which resulted in the death of 40 people.
OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha condoled the families of the dead and wished speedy recovery to the injured, and reiterated OIC’s support for the government and people of Chad in their efforts to counter terrorism and strengthen security, peace, and stability in their country
