Olive Pressing Season Commences in Al-Jouf Region.

Al-Jouf: Farmers of Al-Jouf Region began harvesting their olive production to market their olive oil supply in the local markets and compete in the annual Al-Jouf International Olive Festival in Sakaka, organized by the Al-Jouf Municipality. Al-Jouf is renowned for its agricultural projects, particularly its olive groves, where the fertile land and abundant water resources support thriving olive cultivation.

This industry not only involves the traditional methods of olive oil production but also extends to innovative offerings by women in the community. They prepare products like pickled olives with added flavors, such as cheeses or peppers, which are marketed at the region’s festivals.
