Over 80,000 Vehicles Surge Toward Makkah on 4th Day of Dhu Al-Hijjah

Makkah: The Roads General Authority recorded the passage of more than 80,000 vehicles on routes leading to Makkah on the 4th of Dhu Al-Hijjah as part of extensive traffic management efforts for the 1447 AH Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road saw the highest volume with 26,312 vehicles, followed by the Taif-Makkah Road via Al-Sail Al-Kabeer with 14,846, and Al-Laith Road with 12,528. The remaining traffic was distributed across the Hijrah Road (10,278), Al-Hada mountain pass (7,871), Bahra (6,856), and the direct Makkah-Jeddah highway (4,300).

The authority confirmed that field teams remain fully deployed to monitor flow, maintain strict safety standards, and ensure smooth transit for pilgrims heading toward the holy sites.
