Baghdad - Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani met with the Jordanian King on the sidelines of his participation in the Cairo Peace Summit.

A statement from Al-Sudani's office said that the meeting witnessed discussion of the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip and the tragic conditions experienced by the brotherly Palestinian people in light of the targeting of civilians and hospitals and the shortage of medical and humanitarian supplies and needs.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of working to unify efforts to stop the Zionist aggression in accordance with the Iraqi initiative, mitigate the effects of this aggression, and provide aid to the Palestinians by establishing a special fund for them and protecting their rights./End
