Madinah: What makes the Prophet's pulpit an enduring symbol of faith and history? Located in the southwestern section of Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah within the Prophet's Mosque, the pulpit of Prophet Muhammad stands as an enduring historical landmark from the Prophet's biography.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque states that the pulpit dates back to the early years of the Hijrah. It was during this time that a wooden pulpit, crafted from tamarisk, was introduced for the Prophet after he had initially delivered sermons leaning against a palm tree trunk.
