Medina: During his Friday sermon at the Prophet's Mosque today, Imam Sheikh Abdulbari Al-Thubaiti emphasized that Hajj is a spiritual journey centered on piety and unity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, he explained that rituals such as the state of Ihram, Tawaf, and the stoning of the Jamarat serve as lessons in humility, submission to Allah, and the resolve to avoid sin, while the pilgrimage's large gatherings foster patience and self-discipline.

The imam concluded by highlighting the immense virtues of the upcoming first 10 days of Dhu Al-Hijjah. He urged the congregation to maximize this sacred period through prayer and charity, specifically noting the significance of fasting on the Day of Arafah to seek divine forgiveness.
