Riyadh: The State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the Houthi militia's targeting of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, with a ballistic missile, as well as its attempts to target civilians and civilian objects in the cities of Baish, Taif, Farasan, and Yanbu.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Sunday describing the attacks as reprehensible aggressive conduct and an unacceptable disregard for the lives of civilians. The statement also characterized the actions as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a clear breach of the rules of international law.

The ministry emphasized Qatar's categorical rejection of attacks against civilian objects and civilians, asserting the need for an immediate halt to these acts. Furthermore, the ministry reiterated Qatar's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all legitimate measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests. The statement highlighted that Saudi Arabia's security is an integral part of Qatar's security and the collective security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
