The Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center has confirmed that the Road Quality Program, announced by the Riyadh Municipality on September 24, aims to enhance infrastructure efficiency and improve the safe movement experience for vehicles in Riyadh. As part of its role in planning and ensuring that execution follows the set plan, the center has gathered and analyzed over 200,000 current and future projects, integrating them to reprioritize asphalt resurfacing efforts. This coordination ensures that resurfacing projects do not overlap with those planned for the next five years, thus preventing the waste of over 16 million square meters of asphalt layers. This unified approach is based on sustainability and ensuring road safety. In line with its primary objectives, the center has developed a detailed plan for Riyadh's roads and streets for the coming years, including scheduled timelines for each project. This plan is facilitated through effective communication with 15 public and private sector service provider s. The Road Quality Program is part of the center's efforts, in collaboration with the Riyadh Municipality and all stakeholders, to improve the quality of life and provide a sustainable and prosperous environment that meets the aspirations of Riyadh's residents, in line with the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.
