Riyadh to Host Multilateral Industrial Policy Forum on Wednesday

The Multilateral Industrial Policy Forum (MIPF), affiliated with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), will kick off tomorrow in Riyadh.

The forum, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in partnership with the organization, will focus on “Industrial Policies for a Sustainable Future.”

The two-day forum, held at the Hilton Hotel, aims to support the development of the global industrial sector by formulating effective and innovative policies that address current global challenges and trends. It will be attended by princes, prominent figures, ministers, and decision-makers from around the world, as well as leaders in industrial transformation, CEOs, and representatives from the industrial sector interested in policy development.

The forum will feature panel discussions and interactive debates to discuss industrial policy solutions, challenges, and opportunities arising from industrial, digital, and environmental transformations.

The forum in Riyadh is the first
of its kind to be held outside UNIDO’s headquarters in Vienna. Through this event, the Kingdom aims to enhance dialogue and partnership among specialists and stakeholders in the industrial sector, contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals and Saudi Vision 2030.
