Manga Productions, a subsidiary of Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), celebrated the premiere of the second season of the anime series “Future’s Folktales” in Tokyo, Japan.

The event attracted prominent guests from global Japanese companies, Japanese media professionals and Arab ambassadors to Japan, who were impressed by the series.

The premiere garnered extensive media coverage from various Japanese outlets, including the leading economic news program World Business Satellite, which aired a special segment about the event on national television in Tokyo. Many other media platforms covering creativity, culture, and economics also covered the premiere.

In a statement, Manga Productions CEO Dr. Essam Bukhary remarked, “We are delighted to share our inspiring Arabian stories and culture with Japan and the world. This work reflects our rich heritage in a distinctive and professional manner. ”

Executive Advisor at Toei Animation Shinji Shimizu expressed his gratitude and excitement for the completion of
the joint project between Manga Productions and Toei Animation. He hopes that everyone worldwide will enjoy the series and inspire viewers with Arabian folktales.

The second season of “Future’s Folktales” will be available on “Shahid” and “MBC1” in the Middle East and North Africa every Friday at 5:00 PM KSA time starting November 1, 2024. In Japan, it will air on “TV Tokyo” every Sunday at 7:00 AM starting November 3, 2024, offering audiences worldwide the chance to enjoy this series. This global release highlights the growing reach of Arab content and Manga Productions’ dedication to showcasing Saudi culture and creativity.
