Riyadh: Deputy Minister of Culture for International Cultural Relations Eng. Fahd Al-Kanaan met with Italian Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Culture Gianmarco Mazzi yesterday, on the sidelines of the 5th G20 Culture Ministers’ Meeting. The meeting focused on enhancing cultural exchange and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Italy.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the officials discussed the progress made since the memorandum of understanding was signed in May 2023. Both expressed satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration between their respective ministries, particularly emphasizing the successful implementation of long-term museum loan agreements. The discussions highlighted the mutual commitment to fostering cultural ties and facilitating the exchange of cultural assets and expertise.
