Saudi Arabia Wins Bronze Medal at APIO 2026 in Taiwan

Medina: The Saudi informatics team won a bronze medal at the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2026, which was held remotely in Taiwan during May. The competition featured 187 students from 32 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this marks the Kingdom's sixth participation in APIO since its first entry in 2021.

Founded in 2007 in Australia, the Olympiad is a regional programming and algorithm competition for high school students across the Asia-Pacific and Western Pacific regions. The competition is typically conducted online over five hours, during which participants solve three algorithmic programming problems.
