The delegation held a meeting with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during which a number of issues of mutual concern and ways to enhance bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Azerbaijan were discussed.

Later, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova met with the delegation and reviewed with them ways to enhance bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Azerbaijan in all fields, particularly the parliamentary relations, lauding the depth of ties binding the two countries.

In this context, the Azeri Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Saudi Shura Council held a meeting with its counterpart in the Azeri parliament, led by Fatma Yildirim.

During the meeting, fields of cooperation between the two friendly countries, the importance of the role of parliamentary friendship committees and holding bilateral meetings in a way that supports cooperation between the two chambers were discussed.
