Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Prince Faisal bin Farhan has met with US Envoy to Lebanon Amos Hochstein where the two discussed current regional issues, including developments in Lebanon. The meeting took place at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, as confirmed by the Kingdom’s foreign ministry in a statement released early on Monday.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the visit occurs amid tensions as Israel and Hezbollah have accused each other of violating the terms of a ceasefire deal that began on November 27. The UN peacekeeping force has also repeatedly accused Israel of breaching the ceasefire conditions.
