Saudi Game Champions Program Launches Third Edition

Riyadh:The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has introduced the third edition of the Saudi Game Champions program, aimed at nurturing national talent in the gaming industry. This initiative is spearheaded by the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE) in collaboration with the National Technology Development Program (NTDP).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the six-month program in Riyadh focuses on transforming participants' ideas into playable prototypes and promising projects, bolstering entrepreneurship and technological innovation in Saudi Arabia.

Participants of Saudi Game Champions 3 will engage in a comprehensive journey involving specialized mentorship, development, and practical exercises. The program is tailored to help them refine their skills, advance their projects, and leverage the expertise of gaming industry professionals. It is open to developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and other individuals interested in game development, providing an environment conducive to teamwork, knowledge exchange, and skill development across various stages of game creation.

A notable feature of the program is a three-day "Game Jam" event in Riyadh, where participants collaborate in teams to develop electronic game prototypes, promoting creativity, teamwork, and technological innovation.

The launch of this third edition continues the program's mission to support national talent and projects, preparing Saudi professionals for contributions to the gaming industry. It aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasizes the development of the digital economy and creative industries.
