Riyadh:Director of Public Security Lt. Gen. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami led Saudi Arabia's delegation at the seventh meeting of the Directors of Public Security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The meeting took place at the GCC Secretariat General headquarters.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Lt. Gen. Al-Bassami conveyed greetings from Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. The prince expressed hopes that the meeting would yield outcomes aligning with officials' aspirations and enhance security cooperation among GCC nations.

The meeting's agenda included discussions on various security issues of mutual interest. Participants reviewed the outcomes and recommendations of joint security committees and considered methods to implement them to bolster Gulf security cooperation.
