During the third quarter of 2024, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Makkah Region responded to 68,450 emergency cases. Among these, medical incidents accounted for the highest, at 30,507, car accidents counted 19,183, and over 18,000 were other cases efficiently managed by specialized teams and well-equipped vehicles.
Jeddah Governorate recorded the highest number of cases, at 28,989, followed by Makkah with 26,792 cases and Taif with 12,669.
The authority’s branch in Makkah Region operates a modern fleet of ambulances and emergency vehicles, including buses, four-wheel drives, golf carts, motorcycles, bicycles, and scooters.
Makkah region has 98 emergency centers operating round the clock, of which Taif has 24, Jeddah 36, and 38 other centers are distributed across the region. These centers are staffed by doctors, specialists, and emergency medical technicians.

, send distress calls, and monitor report statuses. The app also helps emergency teams locate callers, and provides information on nearby healthcare facilities, emergency contacts, and relief agencies.
