Doha: The Saudi National Taekwondo teams and clubs have wrapped up a successful competition by winning a total of 37 medals at the Qatar Taekwondo International Open Championship here, where 1,440 athletes from 40 countries participated from October 31 to November 2. The Saudi teams secured a total of seven medals, as Dunya Abo Taleb and Nada Al-Maqoushi each won gold, Taiba Al-Sharif earned a silver medal, and Hani Al-Shahrani, Shahla Al-Otaibi, Sheikha Al Areej, and Lian Kaabi won bronze.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi teams competed in the tournament alongside the national team, significantly boosting the overall medal tally by collectively bringing home an impressive total of 37 medals.
