SCBC Delivers Over 2.9 Million Services to Business Sector in First Half of 2026

Riyadh: During the first half of 2026, the Saudi Competitiveness and Business Center (SCBC) provided more than 2.9 million services to economic establishments, aimed at facilitating business start-up and operational procedures in Saudi Arabia in line with the highest international standards.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the center's services included establishing 46,890 companies, registering 86,786 establishments, and verifying 3,490 e-commerce stores. During the same period, it expanded its presence to 21 branches across 16 cities in the Kingdom.

These figures reflect SCBC's efforts to facilitate business operations and streamline access to related government services through a single point of contact, in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The Kingdom's improved performance in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2026, published last June by the World Competitiveness Center of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), reflects SCBC's continued efforts, in coordination with relevant government entities.

Saudi Arabia ranked 13th globally and third among G20 countries, underscoring its efforts to identify and address challenges facing the private sector and to raise awareness of government reforms, initiatives, and programs.

SCBC continues to fulfill its roles by providing data on doing business in the Kingdom, receiving inquiries, identifying challenges facing the business sector, and addressing them in coordination with the relevant authorities.
