Mecca: Sekaya Charitable Foundation, established by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture as a national entity specializing in water distribution sector development, is continuing its participation in Hajj season 1447 AH at the holy sites, operating more than 70 water distribution centers and providing more than 11,000 water dispensers, alongside supplying more than 35,000 cubic meters of chilled water to serve more than 1.5 million pilgrims.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the foundation operates within an integrated operational ecosystem running around the clock to ensure service continuity at sites witnessing the highest density levels of the year. This approach reflects the transformation witnessed by the water distribution sector in the Kingdom toward more organized and sustainable operational ecosystems supported by modern technology and data.
