Madinah: Republic of Senegal President Bassirou Diomaye Faye left Madinah today after visiting the Prophet’s Mosque and performing prayers. He was seen off at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport by Governor of Madinah Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and several other officials.

According to Saudi Press Agency, President Faye’s visit to Madinah was part of his official engagements. His time in the holy city included performing prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque, a significant site for Muslims around the world. The departure from Madinah marks the conclusion of this leg of his trip.

The presence of Governor Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz at the airport highlights the importance of the diplomatic relationship between Senegal and Saudi Arabia. Several other officials were also present to bid farewell to President Faye, underscoring the warm reception he received during his stay.
