Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh has extended his congratulations to Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi on his recent election as Speaker of the Arab Parliament.
In a press statement, Dr.Al Al-Sheikh acknowledged the Arab Parliament’s pivotal role as a partner in shaping unified Arab policies and its ongoing commitment to defending Arab issues across all levels through parliamentary diplomacy.
Dr. Al Al-Sheikh highlighted the participation of Shura Council members in the activities of the Arab Parliament, including its general sessions and the work of its four permanent committees. This involvement, he noted, aligns with the guidance and support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He underscored the Shura Council’s role in promoting joint Arab action and active participation in regional and international parliamenta
ry unions and forums.
