Moscow: The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and Russian news agency TASS on Monday signed a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of a meeting of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between the two agencies and develop mechanisms for exchanging news and information, serving their mutual interests and enhancing the media presence of their respective countries.

Saudi Ambassador to the Russian Federation Sami Al-Sadhan attended the signing ceremony.
