Supported by KSrelief, Mogadishu Dialysis Center Serves 350 Patients in September

The Dialysis Center at Banadir Hospital in the Somali capital of Mogadishu has provided medical assistance to 350 patients in September with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). Of the 350 patients, 166 received 1,055 scheduled dialysis sessions and 11 emergency sessions, while 177 patients received medical examinations at the nephrology clinic in September 2024. Males constituted 62 percent of the patients and females represented 38 percent, including 2 percent displaced persons and 98 percent residents. The Mogadishu Dialysis Center, which continues providing medical assistance to patients, is part of relief efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to raise the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Somali people.
