The Emirati Ambassador: We Are Looking For A Real Strategic Partnership With The Iraqi Government And Private Sector

The United Arab Emirates stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations with Iraq in all fields.

Emirati Ambassador Salem Issa Al Zaabi said, in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), that "the bilateral relations between the two countries are solid and good, and the President of the UAE, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is keen to strengthen them in various economic and investment fields, renewable energy and others."

He added, "The joint meetings of the Iraqi and Emirati sides reflect mutual keenness to strengthen and consolidate bilateral relations by creating a real strategic partnership that benefits both peoples and countries."

He explained: "The presence of Emirati businessmen and companies in Iraq is to find the best ways of cooperation, whether with government agencies or the private sector, and all Iraqi businessmen to create constructive job opportunities and a real strategic relationship in all fields, including real estate and investment, and the sectors of agriculture, industry and trade."
