The Intelligence and Investigation Agency's detachments arrested two drug smugglers, and seized one and half kilograms of crystal in their possession, at the entrances to Maysan Governorate, in flagrante delicto.

A statement by the agency stated that its detachments arrested the two suspects based on accurate intelligence information, and seized in their possession an amount of narcotic crystal estimated at (one and a half kilograms) that was hidden inside the vehicle they were traveling by.

It added that through interrogation with the accused, they confessed explicitly to their drug trafficking, as their statements were written down and referred to the concerned authorities.

The intelligence agency called on citizens to report all outlaws throughout Iraq by calling the toll-free hotline 144.
