The meetings of the federal government delegation, represented by the Ministerial Council for the Economy, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein, and the Economic Council in the Kurdistan Region, began today, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the region, Masrour Barzani. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement: "These meetings aim to reach understandings between the federal government and the regional government on various issues, especially files related to economic and financial issues. It added: "The joint meetings are scheduled to continue for two days, and include specialized technical sessions and other coordination sessions with the aim of unifying viewpoints and reaching effective solutions."
