Detachments of the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department in Wasit Police arrested three persons accused of drug trafficking and abuse, in a security operation carried out in the city of Kut.

A source in Wasit Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that "various narcotic substances and tools used for drug abuse were seized in the defendants' possession.
