Tourism Ministry Introduces Installment Plans for Penalties

Accra:The Ministry of Tourism has introduced a new service enabling private and non-profit tourism establishments to pay their financial penalties through installment plans. This initiative is governed by Cabinet Decision No. 105 and aligns with the installment rules set by the Ministry of Finance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, applications for this service will be accepted from October 13 to December 31, 2026, via the ministry's website. To apply, establishments need to provide proof of the penalty, a completed application form with justification and declaration, a statement of their financial obligations, bank statements for the 12 months before the application, and financial statements for the latest fiscal year certified by a licensed chartered accountant, if applicable.

The Ministry of Finance will review all requests and make the final decision. It is important to note that submitting an application does not ensure approval. This service aims to assist investors and operators by providing a more flexible method to address financial obligations, thereby promoting compliance and ensuring the continued operation of tourism establishments.
