Arar: The Chamber of Commerce in Arar has recently released a statistical report highlighting an impressive 81.3% increase in truck traffic between Arar and the Republic of Iraq via Jadidat Arar crossing during the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the total number of trucks — both arrivals and departures — at Jadidat Arar crossing reached approximately 33,300 in the first half of 2024. In comparison, the number of trucks recorded in the first half of 2021 was 4,084. The figure rose to 12,954 in the first half of 2022 and further increased to 18,729 in 2023.
Jadidat Arar crossing located in the Northern Border Province, was officially opened in November 2020.
