Security forces arrested two persons accused of smuggling petroleum products and seized their vehicles in Nineveh and Babylon governorates.

A statement by the Ministry of the Interior stated: The detachments of the 1st and 6th Energy Police Brigades arrested two defendants and seized their two vehicles prepared for recycling and smuggling petroleum products in the Nineveh and Babylon governorates for several violations. They were placed under arrest and the two vehicles were seized to complete the investigative procedures and present them to the competent judiciary./End
