Baqubah, - Two young men were killed in a hand grenade explosion northeast of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “Two young men were killed when a hand grenade exploded while playing with it in a village near the Khuraisan River, northeast of Baqubah.”

He added: "The bodies of the two victims were transferred to forensic medicine, while the security services opened an investigation into the incident."
