The Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed today an upcoming visit by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to Baghdad. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement: "The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Affairs and Legal Affairs, Omar Al-Barzanji, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iraq, Nasir Mammadov, and the two sides discussed issues of common interest during the meeting, including the exchange of support in international organizations, and cooperation in the field of combating terrorism." It added: "The discussion also touched on the issue of mutual visits between the two countries, with a focus on the upcoming visit of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to Baghdad."
