Weather Forecast for Wednesday

Riyadh, February. 15, 2023, SPA --The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The report said the weather during the next 24 hours is still ripe for sporadic rain in parts of the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the northern borders, with an opportunity for frost to form in the early morning. Thunderstorms are expected in parts of the north of the Eastern region. At the same time, the surface winds are active, causing dust that limits the horizontal visibility over parts of the regions of Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern, from the Najran region. The formation of fog in the night and early morning hours is not excluded in parts of the east, center, and north of the Kingdom.

The center indicated that the movement of surface winds on the Red Sea is north-northwest at a speed of 25-45 km/h in the northern and central parts and southwesterly to the northwest at a speed of 25-45 km/h in the southern part, and the wave height ranges from one and a half to two meters, and a half and the state of the sea is medium to wavy, while the state of the surface winds in the Arabian Gulf is northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 18-38 km/h in the northern part, and southeasterly to easterly at a speed of 18-38 km/h in the southern part. The wave height is from half to one and a half meters. The sea is light to medium waves.
