Baquba: Diyala Governorate recorded the second case of drowning during the past twenty-four hours.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA: ‘A young man in his twenties drowned while swimming in Al-Tahwela River on the outskirts of Al-Khalis, north of Baquba, the center of Diyala Governorate.’
He added: “The people recovered the body and took it to forensic medicine.”
Yesterday, Sunday, the river police recovered the body of a young man who drowned in Khalis River passing through Al-Katoun area, west of Baquba.
