Al-Jouf Health Cluster Expands Wireless Insulin Pump Use

Al-jouf: Al-Jouf Health Cluster has increased the number of beneficiaries of its wireless insulin pump service for patients with type 1 diabetes to 115, as part of its efforts to use modern technologies to improve the quality of health care and treatment outcomes.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the cluster stated that the wireless insulin pump helps control blood glucose levels with greater precision, improves the quality of life of patients with type 1 diabetes, and reduces episodes of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. This advancement aids in stabilizing patients' health and mitigating disease-related complications.

The cluster emphasized that the expansion of the service is part of its broader plans to adopt the latest therapeutic technologies. This initiative aligns with their objectives to achieve the targets set by the Health Sector Transformation Program and supports the overarching goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
