Assistant Interior Minister for Tech Affairs Reviews Makkah’s Unified 911 Security Operations

Makkah: Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs Thamer Alharbi visited the Unified Security Operations Center 911 in Makkah Region to review workflow and mechanisms for handling reports. Alharbi was received by Commander of the National Center for Security Operations Brigadier General Omar Al-Talhi.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, Alharbi toured the center's departments and reviewed workflow procedures, including how incoming reports and calls are handled, referred to the relevant authorities in the shortest possible time, and followed up with precision and high professionalism. The process utilizes the latest unified technical systems to provide high-quality services to pilgrims in multiple languages around the clock.

The unified 911 center in Makkah serves the Holy Capital and 16 governorates. It consolidates the work of 47 operations rooms into a single facility under one emergency number, handling emergency calls for several security and service agencies.
