Mecca: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has announced the completion of operational and technical preparations for the simultaneous translation of sermons from the Two Holy Mosques, including the Arafah Day sermon.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' project, aimed at conveying the message of Islam worldwide and enhancing civilizational communication. This aligns with Saudi Arabia's commitment to serving pilgrims and strengthening its global standing.
The authority confirmed that this year's Arafah Day sermon will be broadcast in 50 languages across all continents, with 25 languages for Asia, 12 for Europe, and 13 for Africa. This approach ensures that the sermon reaches diverse peoples and ethnicities in their native tongues, enriching the religious experience for pilgrims and visitors.
This project demonstrates the leadership's dedication to using advanced technologies to serve the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. It aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to improve pilgrim services and promote the Kingdom's message of moderation globally across various languages and cultures.
