Makkah: Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz reviewed the workflow at several health facilities operated by the Ministry of Interior's medical services in the holy sites. According to Saudi Press Agency, during the tour, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud inspected the Ministry of Interior Medical Services Clinics Complex and reviewed its specialized medical, pharmaceutical, and laboratory clinics, as well as critical-care units and support services. These facilities are part of the healthcare system provided to pilgrims and are supervised by specialized medical, technical, and administrative personnel. The minister also viewed a visual presentation highlighting the ministry's medical services during the Hajj season. This included an overview of the healthcare-provider network, field and seasonal teams, clinics, hospitals, and medical centers operating in Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud further examined the Me dical Services Command and Control Center, focusing on its real-time monitoring capabilities for health-facility readiness, case movement, deployment of field teams, and operational-performance indicators. These capabilities are crucial for rapid decision-making and enhancing the efficiency of field medical response. The tour also included a visit to the Ministry of Interior Medical Services Field Hospital in Arafat, where the minister reviewed the medical and treatment services provided. These services encompass emergency, intensive-care, and resuscitation departments, as well as units for treating heat exhaustion and heatstroke, and preventative, laboratory, and pharmaceutical services. Additionally, the interior minister reviewed the efforts by the medical services to operate mobile clinics, medical vehicles, and field teams. These initiatives aim to provide first aid, health awareness, and preventive guidance, reducing health risks associated with heat exhaustion and infectious diseases. The ministry's efforts also involve employing modern technologies to enhance field healthcare, such as the smart health bracelet, visual communication technologies for supporting field teams, and the use of drones to deliver medical supplies. Several Ministry of Interior officials accompanied Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud during his visits to these facilities.
