The Israeli security cabinet meeting held last night witnessed severe tensions between the ministers, and sharp disagreements occurred during the discussions.

According to the newspaper “Israel Hayom”, Transportation Minister Miri Regev attacked Defense Minister Yoav Galant, after 130 soldiers announced their refusal to serve in the military unless the prisoners were released.

The newspaper reported that Galant left the session suddenly after the attack launched against him by the Minister of Transportation.

The newspaper said: It seems that this tension reflects the growing divisions within the Israeli government in light of increasing political and field pressures.
