Jazan:Khasher Peak, located in the Al-Dayer Governorate of the Jazan Region, stands out as a unique mountain destination that combines highlands, agricultural terraces, and a rich architectural heritage. Situated approximately eight kilometers from the governorate center, the area is accessible via a scenic, winding mountain road adorned with farms, slopes, and elevated villages. According to Saudi Press Agency, the peak rises about 1,660 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The area features perched villages and stepped agricultural terraces that cascade down the mountainsides, creating picturesque settings for photography and sightseeing, particularly when fog and clouds envelop the highlands. The agricultural terraces are a prominent feature of Khasher's landscape and rural tourism, showcasing generations of indigenous expertise in rainwater harvesting and terrain utilization. The lush slopes support Saudi coffee plantations alongside groves of banana, oran ge, lemon, and quince, providing visitors with an opportunity to engage with local agricultural practices.
