KSrelief Launches Six Medical, Training, and Awareness Volunteer Projects in Sudan

Port sudan: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched six volunteer projects in Port Sudan, Sudan, including two orthopedic surgery projects for adults and children, two training projects to build the capacity of local medical teams, and two awareness projects providing rehabilitation and educational programs for patients and their families. The projects run from August 29 to September 4, 2026, with 29 volunteers from various specialties participating, in cooperation with Enaya Health Association.

According to Saudi Press Agency, since the campaign began, the volunteer medical team has performed nine successful surgeries and examined 130 patients.

The projects are part of the Kingdom's humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief to support the healthcare sector and alleviate the suffering of vulnerable and affected groups across Sudan.
