London Hosts First News Conference for ‘Last Crescendo’ Fights at Riyadh Season

London: A news conference was held Monday in the British capital in preparation for the participation of a select group of top boxing stars in the “The Last Crescendo,” which will take place on Saturday, February 22, as part of the Riyadh Season events.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event will take place at the “anb Arena” and will feature several exciting bouts, including a rematch for the undisputed light-heavyweight championship between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, as well as a defense of the heavyweight world title.

The evening will feature a world middleweight title fight sanctioned by the World Boxing Council (WBC), in which Carlos Adames will face Hamzah Sheeraz, who secured three stunning knockout victories in 2024 against Liam Williams, Austin “Ammo” Williams, and Tyler Denny.

The event will also include two Saudi matchups featuring rising boxers Ziad Al-Maayouf and Mohammed Al-Aql, who will face opponents to be determined later.

The evening is considered one of the biggest events in the boxing world, bringing together global champions to deliver thrilling bouts as part of Riyadh Season, reflecting the Saudi capital’s status as a leading global destination for sports and entertainment.
