Marlon Bayer Secures Second Victory at Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship

Jeddah:The opening round of the Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship 2026 concluded at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit with Austrian driver Marlon Bayer claiming his second race win. The event, organized by ALTAWKILAT Motorsport and sanctioned by the F©d©ration Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), was overseen by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF).

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of SAMF and the Saudi Motorsports Company (SMC), crowned the top three finishers at the end of the second race. Bayer, representing Wrap and Fly, finished 2.208 seconds ahead of British driver Harrison Mackie from iCONNA by Aramco Digital, who secured second place. Archie Owen from 7.23 Racing, hailing from Wales, completed the podium in third, trailing 4.301 seconds behind Bayer.

Bayer led the race from the start, initially pressured by Owen, who overtook Mackie on the first lap to take second place. Despite Owen's attempts to narrow the gap, Bayer remained steady and extended his lead.

Saudi drivers also showed promising performances. Abdullah Kamel started in eighth place, advanced to sixth, and ultimately finished seventh. Faris Organji improved from ninth to seventh before a collision with Devin Walz's car resulted in a puncture, relegating him to 15th place after an unscheduled pit stop.

The championship aims to nurture national talent in motorsport by offering a competitive environment for skill development and experience accumulation, paving the way for Saudi drivers in regional and international competitions.
