Jeddah, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh received here today Sudanese Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments Dr. Nassr Al-din Mufrih and the accompaning delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, they discussed means to promote joint action in the Islamic domains, in addition to ways to combat terrorism, extremism and fanaticism.

They also stressed the significance of enhancing the understanding of the moderate religious discourse, based on mediocrity, moderation and cooperation in the field of mosque caring, rehabilitating and training of imams as well as holding forums and conferences.

Furthermore, they agreed to take advantage of the experience of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in serving the Holy Quran, dissemination of the Sunnah and paying utmost care to preserve mosques, in accordance with the approach of moderation.
